Ally Mitchell
Ally has spent over 25 years working with the biggest brands in the world. In the early days it was as a client, in brand management for United Biscuits. Having then gained some agency experience he co-founded The Marketing Store in 1986. When the business was sold in 1998 it was billing over £30m and it had become the largest sales promotion company in Europe. The agency had created campaigns for McDonald’s, Pepsi, Walkers Crisps, General Motors, Carling and Cereal Partners.
In 2002 he co-founded Spin Music specifically to generate music-led marketing campaigns for Coca Cola and News International.
Bob Workman
Bob has spent over 15 years in the music and entertainment industries. Starting out in Promotion at Island records, Bob worked with artists such as U2, The Cranberries, Ice Cube and Stereo MCs before moving on to Gut Records.
As Marketing Director for Gut Records, Bob oversaw the Tom Jones ‘Reload’ project and helped establish the Gusto dance label.
Since 2003 Bob has helped Spin generate marketing campaigns for brands and publishers, as well as co-founding Spin TV in 2007.
Ben Marnan
Earning his stripes with experience at various record labels, Ben joined Spin in 2005 and has co-ordinated and contributed to many of our more recent projects.
